Waiting

Here I am
Waiting. For him I sit patiently
to see if he will come.
So much...I cover what I'm feeling...
So much...I want to talk to him...
So much...I think about him...
So much...I keep waiting
and waiting
and waiting.

I had Promised

Yet, here I am again
daydreaming about him
when I promised I would not do so.
Yet, here I am again
breaking another promise
I had made to myself awhile ago.
And here I am again being caught
by his presence when I had thought
I would never let myself fall again.
