Singleness without the loneliness.
What would it be like to be with you,
dear lover?
Right now I am absolutely happy.
I have amazing friends that love me,
I have a family that's supportive,
I'm in programs that's going to help
me build my resumes and personal experiences.
College is a bit overwhelming,
but I figure right now you're not worrying
about that at all.
You're probably figuring out how
to get out of high school.
No pressure though.
I understand.
I guess I'll find you one day.
I'm that kind of person,
I will know you when I know.
Right now I don't know because maybe
I haven't met you yet.
Even if I did meet you,
I haven't let myself be acquainted with you yet.

I haven't let myself be acquainted
with anyone long enough to know.
So I guess when I do know
who you are, dear lover,
I will be a successful young woman
with a higher education than right now.
AND I will be in love
because I will be with you!
