Missing Him

She missed him today.
She remembered in the summer
He was always there,
making her laugh,
making her smile,
making her enjoy life itself.
But she couldn't be with him
Because he loved somebody else.
She can't be with him now
because he's not there.
She just misses his company.
She just missed that moment
in her life where they talked
and laughed together.
It was a fun time in her life
until it ended.
She doesn't care if nothing
happens between them.
She just wants her friend back.

He's so Fly

She expected
Him for Thanksgiving,
but he didn't come.
She was so excited the day
before and smiled
the whole way home,
but her heart dropped when
he didn't come.
His brothers came
and brightened my day.
His brothers came
in his place instead.
She found out he went to
Texas.
He didn't say anything about
Texas.
What kind of a friend is he?
When she saw him after church
on Sunday, her heart raced.
It was him, he came back.
She was so happy and he looked
so fly in his outfit.
So fly to the Max.
So she is attracted
to him, her friend.
That's something isn't it?

Flirt

She flirts with him
without really thinking about it.
And he flirts back
without realizing how
it's making her feel.
She likes the way this
relationship is holding out.
She's not going to move
Further with him
because then she might ruin
that relationship.

Incredible

She saw him again
and talked with him again.
Every time they interact,
she loves every single moment.
She doesn't even think
about the other guy that
She had an earlier crush on.
She thinks about him now and the
after feeling was incredible.

Boost Her Confidence

It's nice to know
that there are some guys who thought
her attractive.
It's disturbing, however,
when those guys are hardly
attractive themselves.
Maybe if there was a super hot,
super cool nice guy
who found her attractive
then it might boost her confidence.
To know that she might
be good enough for a god
is satisfying.

He Took Her Breath Away

She swore under her breath,
except she didn't have her breath
because he walked in
and took her breath away.
It was like she knew he was coming
and looked up and there he was.
How she did that she didn't know.
Maybe she saw him
through her peripheral vision.
She knew he were there
so she looked up.
He was wearing the red flannel
over his white v-neck.
She remembered the time he rested
his head on her lap in his red flannel.
It made her day,
but he didn't stay long enough.
She found herself disappointed
but when Sunday comes,
she'll have the chance to see him
if he's there.

Let's Hope

She wears the chain she asked from him
He gave it to her willingly.
She sees him and remembers
the after feeling.
She sees the other guy and flirts.
She sees him and they talk
about life.
He played with her hand and his pen
today as they talked.
She noticed and she liked it.
Something could happen between them
but let's go slowly.
He's like her brother but
she's attracted.
Could he be attracted?
After all these long years,
or is this just a phase?
It could be a phase but let's hope.
Let's hope that this could
become real.
Let's hope but not too high.
She dreams of hope but hoping can fail dreams.

Those Times

There's a family picture of her siblings and his,
and she absolutely love it.
It's like their first family picture, but
it's not legit...yet.
He's like her brother
but as she thinks about all
the time they have interacted with each other,
there was the after feeling that maybe
just maybe he's the one.
He just hasn't realized it.
There was that time he asked her
to look after his clothes as he played soccer.
There was that time when she was on the floor watching
a movie and he was right behind her,
She blushed silently because she didn't know he was there.
There was that time when he had
something in his eye and it was irritating him
and she fixed it by blowing it away.
Then there are all of those other times
when she talked to him and our quick remarks
made us laugh.
There was that time today when he said
She was talking about him with my friends and
She had no idea what he was talking about.
It was a hilarious moment, but she still loved it.
She loves his family, and she loves him but...IDK.

Singleness without the loneliness.

Right now I am absolutely happy.

I'm in programs that's going to help
me build my resumes and personal experiences.
College is a bit overwhelming,

He's been like her brother for so many years
but now they're grown,
practically adults,

She's got a new beau
except he's only a beau in her mind.
The attraction still applies,
and she hopes for the connection also.
Maybe not a "new" beau
from her history of before,
but more of a returning crush.

the matter has already been discussed.
Life after you awaits
to spring new hopes, new loves, new experiences.
A therapist at heart
to her favorite best friend
about the lingering thoughts of her beloved.
Two love birds no more because of the
disconnection.
There was no connection between she and you
so life after you awaits,
a life with maybe her new beau.

Disappear

It's easy to make someone
disappear
when you don't take the time to find them.
At first you can't seem to go a day
without them,
you use most of your energy
just to find a way to be with them.
You're tired and frustrated
and then you skip a day
and realize that without them
it's so much easier.
There's no stress, no worries, no one
to take care of except for yourself.
Slowly you forget about them
because being with them hurt you.
You don't want to go back to them.
Being by yourself is much better and it keeps
you from falling.
The one day you will find another
that you can't live without,
that will be the day you know that that person
will change your life, wonderfully.
